The Register of People with Significant Control
26th July 2016
On the 6th April 2016 a new requirement to keep a register of people with significant control, also known as PSC register was introduced. Since that date, it is mandatory that all UK private limited companies, limited liability partnerships (LLPs) and Societas Europaea (SEs) keep a statutory register, which contains the information about the people who possess significant control or influence over them. From 30th June 2016, companies are legally obligated to submit this information to the central public register at Companies House when filing the first annual confirmation statement.
